All You Need to Know About Your Ella Moda Custom Wedding Dress Journey

Are you dreaming of a custom wedding dress? Here are some things you should know, to help you prepare for your Ella Moda couture gown experience.

Bring Your Inspiration Images with You

Whether it’s one wedding gown you like, or you like several different aspects from a range of gowns, bring in your inspiration images. Ella’s ability to interpret patterns is second to none. No matter the design, Ella and her team can help you create a custom wedding dress you’ll adore.

Some Fabrics Will Need to Be Crafted Specifically for Your Gown

Ella has connections with fabric designers all over the world. Sometimes the fabric for your custom wedding dress won’t already be available, so do your best to book your initial consultation at our Brisbane bridal atelier around 9 months before your wedding date.

Choose Your Nearest and Dearest to Attend Your Fittings

We want you to enjoy every moment of your custom wedding dress experience, and choosing a small circle of your nearest and dearest to attend your fittings will help. When there are too many opinions, it can be overwhelming and confusing.

Your Dream Dress Journey Will Require Four to Six Fittings

Ella goes above and beyond to ensure your custom wedding dress fits you perfectly on your wedding day. We know you’ll love getting to see your gown come together, piece by piece!

Bring Your Shoes to Your Third Custom Wedding Dress Fitting

Ella suggests bringing your shoes to your third fitting, so she can begin to adjust the length of your dress. Of course, if you already have your shoes picked out, bring them along to your initial consultation and we can use them for added inspiration.
